On the 23rd of September, 2018, the Republic of Socialist Pavia has finally declared it's independence! A website has not long came after, launching on September 24th of the same year.
''This is a great day for our new nation,'' President Cameron said, ''I can see a great future for Pavia, and we can make it together. In the future, when we have more land and more citizens, I have plans to hold our first general election to elect ministers. I also have plans to start a national bank and currency when we reach over 50 or 100 citizens. It will be a long journey, but a fulfilling one. I hope our nation lasts, and rises above the failed micronations, because I am serious about this, and I want it to make a footprint in micronational history, and the history of the world as a whole. I could take years to decades, even centuries if it must, but Pavia will become a fully recognised sovereign state; for everyone. From the poor, to rich, the men, the women, the gay, the straight, the old, the young; these are all the people this nation was made for. For freedom, equality and happiness. Thank you,'' he continued.
So, what does the future hold? We will have to see.
